ANALYZE THE STORY : THE LEGEND OF CRYING STONE

The title of the text is The
Legend of Crying Stone
·
The text is about there was a
beautiful girl lived with her mother but her mother was very ugly. The
beautiful girl wanted to look like very beautiful and rich but she didn’t aware
that her mother very poor and ugly. She always dress up and make up with
expensive thing. Once time, her mother and she went to the market. Every people
in the market looked at her because she was very beautiful. One of the people
in the market asked her who is woman behind her, the girl answered that the
woman behind her is her servant. She
didn’t admit that the woman is her mother, but the mother just silent and
didn’t say anything. Her daughter always said that the woman behind her was
servant or slave. At last, the mother prayed to God to ask for a punishment for
her impolite daughter. Then the mother cried and cursed the girl into a
stone. Suddenly, there was a storm and the girl begged to the mother
ask for apologize but that was too late. The mother didn’t gave apologize to
the girl and the girl became a stone. And until now, the stone still cried and
people on there area called “ The crying stone”.
